I recently read that in 2008 only 1 in 3000 orphans in Ethiopia was adopted into a family.
Although Micah was adopted into our family in 2009, I'm sure the statistcs are still as staggering. In 2008, only 1725 Ethiopian children were adopted into US homes...do the math...many children in Ethiopia still need families, shelter, clothing, education.

My goal for this blog is to raise awareness on behalf of these children -- to help my 2999 children still in need find either forever-families, or, the financial support necessary to get access to an education and daily needs.
There are so many ways you can help -- check out the links on the right for ideas. I will continue to post links to organizations/agencies/individuals that are ministering to the fatherless.
